Meet Janet

Janet Frederick is passionate about creating an environment for children, teens, and young people to feel safe to share their struggles and grow socially and emotionally. She holds a Masters in Education and a Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. She has worked with children in various capacities for over 15 years, including but not limited to public school teaching, school social work, school-based mental health therapist, and in-home therapy for children in foster care.

Outside of work, Janet loves candid pictures, reading novels, smiling, and trying new ice cream flavors (but no chocolate please)! Her favorite place to visit is the beach or beautiful bodies of water. She loves spending time with family and friends, and she has two children of her own. She encourages others around her to pursue wellness in all areas of life!

Some of Janet’s strengths: Helping people get the resources they need (jobs, food, services, candy, etc)

Some of Janet’s weaknesses: FREE food and baby giggles
